If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that I was recently lucky enough to be chosen to receive an Influenster VoxBox. This box was in collaboration with Marc Jacobs Beauty which you can purchase from John Lewis

This is my first Influenster box and also my first time trying the Marc Jacobs Beauty range. I was so excited and I am so grateful to Influenster for choosing me amongst some of the other amazing bloggers/influncers out there!

Lets get to it! This box included two Highliner Gel Eye Crayons in the shades (Pop)ular and Pink of Me. These colours are not the usual colours I would personally pick as I am more of a natural pinks and browns kinda girl. However, this was a good thing for me as it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and try some bolder and brighter colours.

First lets talk about the products themselves, these highliner crayons come in 25 amazing shades for all kinds of makeup creations! The packaging is so glamorous but simple. What I loved first about these products is how these intense eye colours are waterproof as well as gentle on the eye area. The soft and creamy texture of these products make them easy to use, even for a novice who wants to start experimenting with new makeup techniques and looks.

The Pink Of Me shade is a gorgeous baby pink colour that I loved using in the inner bottom waterline to finish an eye look, giving my eyes a pop of brightness and allowing my eyes to look more awake! This long lasting highliner is a great option for a night out as you can guarantee your eyes will look fabulous while you are enjoying yourself!

The Pop(ular) shade is a warmer pink that I liked using on my eye lids. I used a smudging brush, which I gently blended into the outer corners of the eyelids, then brushed on a similar pink eyeshadow that gave my eyes a slight shimmer with a creamier look to my eye makeup! The creamy texture takes about 15 seconds to set so I recommend applying a small amount of crayon then blending, adding a little more each time until you have achieved the desired look.

These gel crayons are so easy to use and with the wind up action on the pencil there is no need to sharpen every time the tip gets low! This is great for when you are out and about and need to touch up on your waterline or to add a pop to the inner corner of your eyes!

For the price of £20 I think these Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayons* are a great choice if you are looking to add to your eye makeup collection. I have my eye on the shades O(vert) and Mari(gold) and have already added them to my makeup wishlist!

Have you tried these amazing Highliners yet? What shades do you love?

*These products were sent to me complimentary to review. All the opinions are my own.

I also received these! I love them, I got the light pink and brown and they are so lovely. I used the pink one for the first time today as an eyeliner with a twist and absolutely loved it. I also tried them in my waterline but I got scared thinking they weren’t supposed to be used there. So I took it off I guess I can give it another go since you’ve used it there.

Definitely give it another go. The light pink one is great in the lower waterline as it makes your eyes pop, especially with a smokey eye! Thank you for reading! xo
