Glowing Skin With Bali Body Skincare

With the UK summer almost non-existent, I’m reaching for my favourite self tan brand Bali Body. I’m not one for bathing in the sun but I adore a golden tan as it makes me feel so good. If you follow my blog or my Instagram then you will know I’ve used Bali Body products for years and I was so excited to try their brand new skincare product. The Bali Body Gradual Face Tan Hydrating Cream, is a multi-tasking face cream which has all the benefits of a daily moisturiser but gives you a natural gradual tan. I adore this formulation so much, it’s so light but moisturising!

Just for a bit of context, I have oily skin and I prefer lighter texture face creams or gels. This anti-oxidant rich cream is deeply hydrating and nourishing without compromising on a light and easy to absorb moisturiser. Don’t be put off with the words “self tan” if you are a novice, this product is perfect for everyone and every skin type. The colour develops so subtly and evenly and doesn’t even look like you have applied a self tan (no fake tan smell or orange tint!) This moisturiser is just as easy to use as any other face cream with just the exception of needing to make sure the product is blended well around the hairline, eyebrows and jawline/décolletage but it’s very easy to achieve this with no problems and just like applying your regular skincare products. Enriched with soothing ingredients like Aloe Vera, Shea and Cocoa Butter, this product is so gradual that you can have full control with how dark you want the tan to become. Use daily for a deeper tan or every other day for a more sun kissed glow. I have been using this product every day since I received it and I now reach for it without thinking. I use skincare actives (includes liquid exfoliants) daily so the skin on my face replenishes quickly so the tan doesn’t become too dark and stays natural and even so daily use works for me. 

My top tips for using this face cream is to ensure you use it after you have cleansed your skin to ensure it is being applied to clean, fresh skin. If you like to apply a serum before hand just ensure it has completely absorbed before applying this cream just to ensure an even absorption. Finally, my last tip is to make sure you keep on top of your weekly exfoliation on your face, again this will ensure an even tan and no lumps or uneven colour from excess dry skin or oil.  

The Bali Body 2-in-1 Gradual Face Self Tan has become my favourite morning daily moisturiser because of how healthy and radiant my skin looks. With the lack of sunshine in the UK at the moment, this face cream is keeping my skin looking healthy and glowing.
