Trip Away to The land of the Scots

September 8, 2015
Edinburgh, Scotland

I’m a bit late with this post as this trip was in July but better late than never I suppose. This trip was for our 3rd wedding anniversary we had planned to see Lionel Richie in Concert back in March at the O2 in London but for unseen circumstances we couldn’t go, I was devastated. So my lovely husband surprised me and booked tickets to see him again..at Edinburugh castle. So he planned a lovely couple of days away for us to Scotland, organising the transport and hotel..well let’s just say he did very well. I’ve never stayed in such a beautiful hotel and for anyone thinking of visiting Edinburugh then do it! Such a beautiful and friendly place, I would love to go back again. Instead of babbling on here is a gallery of photos of our trip away…

First we started with a a Wetherspoons breakfast at Stansted Airport.

Hard Rock cafe, Mocktail

After a relaxing bath in our superior suite we chose to dine at the Hard Rock for dinner and the nice barman made me up a lovely Strawberry and Basil mocktail while we waited for our table
