Trying the NEW Bali Body Tinted Super Serum SPF 30

As I have got older, in my mid 30’s my focus has firmly been shifted to spending more money and time on my skincare. I very rarely wear a foundation as a base. I tend to focus more on keeping my skin clear and hydrated. This allow my skin to look and feel healthy and radiant. This allows me to get away with just applying a little concealer on specific areas, like under eyes or blemishes to create a natural day time look without having to cake on to much makeup.

Products that I do like to apply to my face, if my skin looks and feels dull or needs a little colour are tinted skincare. That is where Bali Body’s brand-new product has firmly found a place in my daily skincare routine.

Introduction to Bali Body

Let us talk about Bali Body. If you are a regularly reader of my blog then you will know that I have shared various blog posts reviewing a wide range of Bali Body and Bali Body Skincare. You can find a link to them all here if you fancy a read. I have been a loyal customer since 2016. I recommend their products to everyone I know. My personal favourites are the tanning oils and self-tan.

Bali Body is a sun skincare brand that was founded in 2004 by co-founders Laura Foley and David Oosterloo when they wanted to create sun care/skincare for sensitive skin starting with their famous Bali Body Tanning Oil and the rest is history. I have loved using their products over the years and as a loyal customer I have loved watching this brand grow and create such beautiful innovative products. As someone that is not model ready but wants to feel comfortable and happy within my skin, I love that this brand is open to everyone and skin types.

Let us talk about the Tinted Super Serum SPF 30

The Bali Body Tinted Super Serum is a UVA and UVB broad spectrum SPF 30 skincare serum. A lightweight formula designed to be used as a last step in your skincare routine for added hydration and protection with a hint of colour. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and Amino Acids, skincare benefits are at the core of this product. Enriched with active Ingredients:

• Octisalate 3.1%
• Octocylene 8.1%
• Titanium Dioxide 3.2%
• Zinc Oxide 5.9%

This hybrid SPF 30 sunscreen is the ultimate premium skincare. It enhances your complexion by protecting and nourishing the skin for long lasting hydration and glowing skin.

How it works and how to apply the serum

The Bali Body Tinted Super Serum is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It is a lightweight serum allowing a buildable coverage from natural to light, covering blemishes, redness, and imperfections. The serum creates a subtle dewy finish. This allows the skin to boost luminosity from within and to allow a radiant and healthy-looking complexion.

How to use:

• Shake well to activate the serum
• Apply 2-3 drops onto fingertips and blend evenly over face and neck. Layer for additional coverage and SPF protection.
• Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure
• Reapply after two hours to ensure maximum protection

Putting this serum to the test:

As someone who rarely wears foundation, this product is right up my street. I have an olive/yellow undertone in my skin which can look sallow. Using a sheer finish tinted serum is perfect to add a little life and colour into my skin when it needs a little pick me up.

I found that the serum was easy to apply with my fingers and to layer where needed for a natural yet glowy finish. A small amount really goes a long way so this bottle would last you a little while depending on ow often you would use it.

My skin looked smooth, radiant and redness was reduced giving my complexion a clear healthy glow. My skin feels more hydrated and plumped, which is where the skincare benefits come into the mix.

This product would make the perfect addition to any routine, especially in the summer months when you do not want to wear a foundation. I will take this one on my next trip with me. It’s a effortless way to create a healthy and ‘put together’ makeup look. All you need is a little mascara, lip balm and you can have yourself a “no makeup” makeup look ready for any occasion.
