Our Weekend Away | Meliá White House London

Recently my husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. This year we decided to have a  child free weekend away to London, which included an over night stay at the Meliá White House in Central London.

I love London and we are very fortunate to live only a short train ride away and no matter how often we go and see the same sights, it is still one of my favourite cities.

The location of this beautiful hotel is a just across the way from Great Portland Street tube station which made it easy for us to travel around London.

As soon as we entered the hotel I was taken away by the stylish décor and the 1930’s architecture, from the gorgeous pillars to the sweet smelling aroma, this hotel has an amazing hotel lobby.

Our room was a premier room and had a clean and spacious feel. The bed was very comfortable and I had an amazing night’s sleep (which is what every parent dreams of when having a night away from the kids). The bathroom was a lovely size, a nice shower and little extras so we had everything we needed.

In the morning we had a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The selection was very impressive or a traditional continental spread which included chicken sausages as well as pork, I don’t really eat pork sausages so when I saw this I was extremely happy. As you can see from the photos I had two breakfast plates because hey, it would be rude not to have enjoyed all the freshly baked sweet pastries.

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Meliá White House in London and I will definitely say here again on my next stay in London.
