I am a massive fan of herbal teas, I drink them all the time. It took me a while to find a brand that I really enjoyed the taste of, that is when I found Pukka Herbs Tea. The variety of flavours are amazing and there is definitely something for everyone if you are fussy with the flavours.
I first started drinking herbal teas about 8 years ago when I stopped drinking traditional English tea because it triggered off my headaches and sometimes a migraine. I didn’t want to cut caffeine out too quickly so I tried Green Tea, a very pungent taste and very different to a normal cup of tea. To make it more bearable for me to drink I started adding a teaspoon of honey to sweeten the flavour. Now I am so used to the taste I don’t find the need to add any honey to any of my herbal teas, especially the Pukka Clean Match Green. This has to be my favourite green tea and I drink one cup a day even though the caffeine content is only a third of one cup of coffee, it is my pick me up mid -morning, which helps cleanse my body and mind ready for the day ahead. I can’t go a day without enjoying a delicious invigorating lemony matcha green tea.
I have a selection of favourite Pukka herbal teas that I love to drink depending on my mood. The latest addition to my herbal tea collection is the Pukka Womankind a delicate blend of cranberry, rose and vanilla, perfect for those “time of the month” problems. This tea is my go to when I feel like I need a time out and to sit and relax with a nice cup of tea, and it is naturally caffeine free!
Another drink I am loving is the Pukka Vanilla Chai Tea this uplift and revitalising herbal tea tastes amazing when you want to cosy up under a woollen blanket, perfect for the coming Autumn/Winter season. Naturally caffeine free, this tea makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and the cinnamon bark smell gives me Christmas feels.
Last but not least, my all time favourite herbal tea, Pukka Chamomile, Vanilla & Manuka Honey I started drinking Chamomile tea when I was pregnant as it was a godsend to help me sleep at night and 2 years later I still religiously drink a cup before bed. I wrote a post about my bedtime routine which you can find here if you need some tips on how to get a good nights sleep.
I may have my favourite herbal teas but there is still a huge variety of Pukka herbal teas I have yet to discover and I can’t wait! I usually buy my teabags from my local Sainsbury’s but I know you can buy them in most supermarkets and health food stores.
One health and lifestyle tip for you – a lot of people don’t realise that a cup of herbal tea counts towards your daily water intake, so get drinking to make sure you are getting at least 2 litres of water into your body.
I adore their teas’s so much, perfect for different moods and times of the day!
