Collagen Beauty Milk

Recently I was sent some protein milkshake drinks from UFIT which I have reviewed here & here. They also sent me this product to try, Collagen+ Beauty Milk milkshake. I was more than happy to try this product as my skin lacks collagen and scars really easily, so I was willing to try anything that would boost my collagen levels.

If you are not sure what collagen is it is a structural protein that is found in the skin, hair and nails keeping them strong, healthy and youthful. You may have heard of collagen in your moisturiser as it is a key ingredient in anti-aging skincare to keep skin firm and hydrated.

This is the first time I have ever tried a collagen boosting drink and was a little apprehensive about drinking this product and putting it in to my body.

The main ingredients in this collagen drink 200ml bottle are:

Collagen (5000mg per bottle)

Vitamin C (80mg per bottle)

Protein (11.9grams per bottle)

Green Tea extract (50mg per bottle)

Vitamin B Complex (B12, B3 & B6)

The smooth tasting strawberry flavoured milkshake is a great snack replacement as it is quite rich in texture and the strawberry flavour was enjoyable to drink. I could really taste the green tea which gave it quite a pungent taste but overall a healthy alternative to your normal milkshake or other protein drinks. It is best to be drank chilled from the fridge as it tastes nicer and more refreshing.

I will definitely be drinking this Collagen+ Beauty Milk again for all the nutritional benefits it includes and it’s good for on the go or after the gym because of the great quantity of protein.

Collagen+ Beauty Milk is available to buy from Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Tesco and online.
