Love Skin, Love Island

The new winter Love Island is upon us and as one of my guilty pleasures I will be watching these singletons sunning themselves in South Africa, with all the drama, coupling and “I GOT A TEXT!” I love a bit of reality tv and the banter it brings, I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for us.

SKINCARE FIRST, LOVE LATER 

2020’s winter series of Love Island is launching in Cape Town this January. That means around 6 million viewers will be on the edge of their seats watching as the UK’s most eligible young models, influencers and sports personalities try to find love in the South African sunshine.

Unsurprising, skincare is a priority for the contestants, but who’d have thought that falling in love could cause spots? As if our Love Islanders don’t have enough to worry about in the villa!

Funnily enough, this can also happen during periods of stress, for example when starting a new relationship. When our hormones settle down again our skin should too.’
