Professional Beauty Event London 2018

On Sunday 25th February 2018 I attended the Professional Beauty Event at the London Excel. This was my first event attending as a Blogger and as you can probably imagine I was very nervous but also very excited! I am a massive beauty fan so this was my idea of heaven!

As I don’t live that far from the venue, my Husband kindly dropped me off around 11:30am where I then walked in the cold sunshine and enthusiastically entered the Excel building. I have been here numerous times for various events/exhibitions, but to have attended an event as a blogger was a completely new experience for me and I really wasn’t sure what to expect or how the day would pan out.

WHAT I DID AT THE EVENT

I tried to prepare and arrange my day so that I would be less nervous when I got there and sure enough the day flowed amazingly. I met some lovely fellow bloggers, one half of Soeurs De Luxe and Beauty on Review as well as press, journalists, business owners and the lovely Alice from Basbuka PR, who kindly invited me to this event. I walked around the whole place twice (yes my feet were sore at the end of the day!) I spoke to so many people about different products to do with beauty, treatments, health and wellness and even listened into some of the live talks that were taking place throughout the day. I left the event around 2:30pm as I had done and seen everything I had planned.

I didn’t actually realise how many photos I took on the day, which is nice as I can share these images with you and will remain photo memories for me to look back on on my blogging journey.

I explored so many brands I loved and found new brands to try. As well as receiving some goodie bags, samples and product, I also treated myself to a few bits including my favourite Image Skincare Vital C Masque which I have previously reviewed here if you want to check it out.

WHAT I RECEIVED FROM THE EVENT

The goodie bags were packed with samples and products from various brands that were exhibitors at the event, so I have taken a few photos of them but I will be trying them all and sharing the ones that I love in a later post.

It was such a fantastic experience and one I would love to repeat again soon. The event was very organised and everyone was so friendly. I loved networking and learning new things from all the amazing people I met and exchanged details with. It may seem silly but to me attending an event as big and successful as this as me, a blogger, on my own is a big deal and I am so proud of myself for pushing aside my worries and anxiety and I really did have an amazing time.
